It started with a shaky video, shared by a user called LunaSeer777. No one knew who they were, but the video went viral. It showed the moon flickering, lines etched across it like fractures. People panicked. Schools closed. Telescopes sold out. The mayor issued a statement, “We are consulting with space agencies.”

Three days later, an astronomer named Rhea posted a clear explanation:

“It was a glitch in a filter lens. The moon is intact.”
But her post got 72 likes.
The original video had 4.2 million.

No one listened to Rhea. Her quiet truth drowned in the thunder of popular belief.

By the end of the week, a new town ordinance required nighttime moon drills. “In case it falls,” said the town council.

Rhea sighed and looked up.
The moon shone silently, unbroken.
