Riya turned on her heel and walked away—straight into the glass door she thought was open.

The clang echoed.

She whispered, “Kill me,” to no one.

But just as she reached for the door again, she heard his voice behind her:

"Riya?"

She turned around, cheeks crimson.

He smiled. “I like tea.”
