Mira felt this silence deeply the day she stood at the edge of the old forest. Her grandmother had once told her, “Everyone carries a lantern inside them. Some forget to light it.”

But Mira felt certain she had no lantern at all.

One evening, while cleaning the attic, she found a small iron lamp—dusty, dented, cold. A note hung from its handle:

“This lamp does not show you the way.
It shows your way.”

Curious, she lit it.
